Cancellation Policy

Cancellation

Please understand that once you reserve your time, I cannot offer it to anyone else, which means there must be guidelines to avoid cancellation. These guidelines will be followed quite strictly, so be sure to adhere to them. No exceptions. Consistency, routines, and repetition are extremely important components of musical learning. Setting clear expectations and reliability is a great contributor to the growth of a young musician. Please make it a top priority to attend your scheduled lesson. During the semester I will not have time to offer to students who miss lessons regularly. For cancellations due to weather, please regularly check for emails and text messages as cancellations will be based on conditions and safety.

How to Cancel a Class

  • Cancellation must be made at least 48 hours prior to the lesson. If you fail to do this then the class cannot be rescheduled.

  • Properly canceled lessons can be made-up on a later Saturday. Contact me directly with your preferred date.

  • There will be no make-up lessons granted after the end of the semester.

  • If the student is more than 10 minutes late to a lesson, the lesson will be canceled.

  • If a student forgets to bring their learning materials for the 3rd time, the lesson will be canceled.

  • Cancellations due to inclement weather should be made via email by no later than 13h

  • Each student is allowed 3 make-ups per year.

  • If you would like to cancel lessons before the 2nd semester, please do so by December 1; otherwise, you will be charged a cancellation fee.
